Carlson Hotels Worldwide – Asia Pacific (CHW-AP) has signed an agreement with China’s Sanya Lu Hui Tou Tourism Development Co., to manage a new Radisson Plaza hotel in Sanya, the southernmost city in Hainan.
This latest addition to the premium Radisson Plaza portfolio supports CHW-AP’s development plans to more than double its presence in Asia over the next four years. Radisson is the upscale, full-service brand in the Carlson portfolio.
Radisson Plaza Hotel Sanya Lu Hui Tou is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2011. The 240-room property will have direct access to a 700-metre private beach along Sanya Bay and will be surrounded by upscale shopping, dining and entertainment outlets. It will also be in close proximity to an 18-hole golf course and will also include approximately 60 one, two or three-bedroom villas.
